I am Satish Kumar, PhD student in Dr Rami Bahsoon's Research Lab at School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK. I am fortunate to work under the supervision of Dr Rami Bahsoon, Dr Tao Chen (Loughborough University) and Prof. Rajkumar Buyya ( The University of Melbourne & Rank #1 Computer Scientist in Australia). In my PhD project, I am working towards developing a debt-aware economic driven framework for dynamic service composition in the SaaS Cloud. In particular, the ultimate goal of this research work is to create economic-driven approaches for understanding, improving and assessing the runtime behaviour of the Service-Based Software Systems.
Prior to that, I was a lecturer in the IMS College, Ghaziabad and full-time guest faculty (~ teaching associate) in Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, India. I hold master and a bachelor degree in computer science from the Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida and C.C.S. University, Meerut, India respectively. Moreover, I received a postgraduate certificate in Information Technology from Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, UK.
